Robyn Samuel

Robyn came to the MRC in January 2013, as the organisation’s part time Accountant. Since then she has taken on the role of Office Manager and HR, which now sees her here 9 days out of ten.

Robyn graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from The University of Adelaide in 2000. She went on to work for KPMG and The Salvation Army in accounting/finance roles.

Robyn also completed a Bachelor of Education in 2003. She subsequently worked in various educational contexts, including: primary schools and the University of Adelaide, where Robyn has tutored ‘International Financial Institutions’ (a first year Economics/Finance subject), since 2002.

Her keen interest in travel has also seen Robyn complete a Certificate III in Tourism at The Australian Tourism College, where she ended up teaching several ‘airfares’ subjects.

Robyn describes herself as ‘a people person who is good with numbers’ – not the typical ‘boring’ accountant! She enjoys watching films (of course) and looks forward to increasing her involvement in the film industry. Watch this space for how and when that happens!!!
