WHAT WE DO
The Media Resource Centre (MRC) provides entry-level to earlycareer film, video and interactive media makers with access to production equipment, subsidy programmes and advice in all aspects of development and production.
In addition, the MRC manages the Mercury Cinema, delivering a comprehensive exhibition programme to build and diversify audiences for film, video and new media works. The Mercury Cinema also provides local practitioners with the opportunity to screen their works.
WHO WE ARE
The MRC is an Incorporated Association and has a Board elected by the members. The MRC Board delegates responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the organisation to the staff.
The MRC is a member of Screen Development Australia, a national network of resource organisations that support the development of a strong and innovative screen-based industry.

CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS
The MRC is committed to assisting you at every stage of your involvement in film, video and new media.
MRC staff will:
- be contactable by phone, fax, email and in person
- be courteous and professional at all times
- treat you fairly, impartially and with respect
- consider convenience to clients when planning and delivering services
- ensure openness and transparency in decision making
- treat cultural differences with sensitivity and as far as possible make provision for cultural difference
- adhere to the laws and requirements of anti-discrimination legislation
- consider all suggestions as to how we might improve MRC services
- respect your right to privacy and confidentiality
- endeavour to answer enquiries on the day received
The MRC will:
- be open Monday to Friday from 9:30am – 5pm
- offer 24-hour access to hire facilities for members
- record calls received prior to 9:30am and after 5pm, with messages dealt with on the next working day
- provide clear information about all MRC programs, including selection criteria and policy priorities.
The MRC will not:
- provide cash support for projects
- provide retrospective support
- support projects which breach MRC policies and program guidelines

The MRC is committed to the continual improvement of its services. Your views and comments are welcomed

If you are dissatisfied with MRC service:
- firstly, speak with the person directly involved so that they are aware of the problem and can take immediate action to remedy the situation
- if you are still dissatisfied, speak to the Manager of the relevant program
- if this approach is unsuccessful, contact the Director
- if this course of action fails to result in a satisfactory outcome then write to the Chair of the MRC Board, c/o 13 Morphett Street, Adelaide SA 5000.
